Services

What are you trying to discover or verify?

Connect the skills that matter at work to assessment systems, useful evidence, and defensible decisions.

Define what to measure

01

Job analysis

Identify the tasks, skills, knowledge, and judgment that matter for effective performance. Work with subject matter experts to understand current requirements and how roles are changing.

02

Skills and competency frameworks

Develop or refine frameworks that connect workforce needs to clear descriptions of capability and observable performance expectations.

03

Assessment blueprint validation

Evaluate whether the assessment plan covers the relevant skills and competencies, gives them appropriate emphasis, and supports the intended decisions.

Put measurement to work

Use those foundations to design and evaluate assessment systems, interpret performance data, and support learning.

04

Verify skills through performance

Design or evaluate systems that use realistic tasks or evidence from everyday work to show what people can do and support decisions about competency and certification.

05

Find out what people learn with your technology

Decide what evidence would show that people are building skills and applying them at work, what data the tool can capture, and how to reliably and fairly interpret and report the results.

06

Make performance data valid, reliable, and fair

Work with product, data, and engineering teams to use Evidence-Centered Design (ECD) to connect the data you collect to defensible interpretations and uses of performance measures.

What is Evidence-Centered Design?

ECD starts with what you want to say about a skill, identifies the evidence that would support that claim, and specifies the tasks or situations that can produce that evidence.

07

Build workforce skills through your assessment system

Move beyond static assessments to design an assessment system that serves workforce learning and development rather than summative decisions.

Discuss a project

Engage around a specific question or connect these activities as part of a broader assessment strategy.
